Always take the time to do the following:

• examine your sling for signs of wear that would compromise your baby’s safety
• secure your baby in the sling before you take your hands off your baby
• check that your baby’s airway is protected and that they can breathe easily
• be mindful of your baby while they are in the sling, check on their health and comfort frequently
• use COMMON SENSE, you are ultimately responsible for the safety of your baby
